Surrender

This world — sometimes overwhelming. We humans, complicated… so, we think. Maybe more simpletons than we give ourselves credit for.

I’m tired.

Reminded once again… that surrender is a must.

Surrender to what? God?

The universe?

The people we bow down to?

Our cats and dogs?

Guinea pigs?

Our desire for more?

More gadgets that find their way into our basements… where spiders crawl and mice trample in the winter in their search for a place to call home?

The heart? The child within crying out for our attention?

“Please return to who you are..remember me? The real you?”

We, the rule makers of planet earth are oh so limited — making love then making war… Instagram selfies with filters that hide our realities.

Who are you? Really? Who — are — you?

Who am I?

Doesn’t it get tiring? This faking it until we make it?

Surrender is the only option… if we want true joy.

Surrender to who? What?

Finding the answer may take just shutting up… listen ing… breathing… asking… be….ahhh…

Silence. Breathe. It’s ok.

Calm.

Meaning.

Hope.

Life.

Kindness.

Beauty.

Surrender.

Be.

Ahhh…
